MARKET BRIDGE CHALLENGE:

The winners were announced at a celebration event on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the ODU Strome Entrepreneurial Center.

The Aero-Tech Concursive Sea Level Rise:

$5,000 Prize Interactive Canes

$2,500 Prize The Waders.

$2,500 Prize The Ghent All-Stars.

Scavenger Hackathon:

There was not a winning team for the Hackathon as no team was able to penetrate the Trustifer Inc. software. This challenge will be reopened in the near future for teams to attempt to hack the software. Stay tuned for details.

Hillier (ignite) Broadband Challenge:

A prize was not awarded for the broadband challenge due to low submissions. It will be reopened in the near future. Stay tuned for details.

Hillier (ignite) has graciously donated $15,000 as the prize for the Broadband Challenge. It is not too late to sign up. For complete details, go to the "Documents" tab on the Market Bridge Challenge 2016 Broadband group and download the vision paper requirements. Submissions must be received by June 24, 2016 at 11:59 pm. Group Profile

GOV2COM and the Strome Entrepreneurial Center are hosting the first prize based challenge in Hampton Roads. Local government/defense contractors, students/faculty, and commercial companies will compete on Cyber, Broadband, and Coastal Resilience challenges. Market Bridge Challenge 2016 runs through June 24, 2016.
